ZH / Utility and pipeline corridors

Utility and pipeline corridor monitoring from the air.

Vegetation encroachment and right-of-way condition. Drones fly every day, weather permitting, and every flight leaves a dated record.

A Zohardi Station, our customized dock and data center, is a drone dock that lives on site. We run every flight, the data and the FAA approvals for flying beyond visual line of sight.

A transmission line right-of-way crossing chaparral hills

001 / What it watches for

Vegetation encroachment and right-of-way condition.

  • Vegetation clearance. One base image of the property, with a vegetation clearance layer for the corridor.

  • Right-of-way condition. Access roads, erosion and new structures in the right-of-way, flagged with a photo and its location.

  • Change since the last flight. Flying the same property from the same dock lines each map up with the last, so a change on the map is a change on the ground.

  • Heat and methane. Heat and methane wherever they matter, and every methane reading comes with its detection limit and the conditions, including wind, flight height and speed.

002 / What you get

Answers in the tools you already use.

  • Each finding with its evidence. Every finding comes with a photo, its location and how sure it is.

  • Esri layers and Databricks tables. Results land in Esri ArcGIS and Databricks, as Esri layers, Databricks tables and exports, or through an API. We're an Esri partner and a Databricks partner.

  • A dated record. Every flight leaves a dated record for your land trust or your insurer.

  • A living digital twin. Every flight, finding and dataset joins one digital twin of the property, by place and time. Once flights begin, ask it a question in plain language, and it answers with the imagery to back it up.

  • Your data. You own your data and every output about your properties.

Try Zohardi free for 60 days.

We install the dock, handle the FAA approvals and run every flight. You own your data, and you can stop anytime.

  1. Step 1

    Walk the land.

An hour on the phone and a walk of the property to set your priorities and pick a spot for the dock.

  2. Step 2

    Fly every day.

Daily flights and on-demand checks, a morning report, and alerts when something changes.

  3. Step 3

    Review your numbers.

At day 60 we go over what it caught, what it saved and what it added. Keep going, or we take the dock away and you keep the record.

004 / Questions

Questions about utility and pipeline corridors.

What does it watch for along a corridor?

Vegetation encroachment and right-of-way condition. Every finding comes with a photo, its location and how sure it is.

Who handles the FAA approvals to fly beyond visual line of sight?

We do. As operator of record, we obtain and maintain the FAA approvals to fly beyond visual line of sight at each property.

Can the same flights serve more than one team?

Often, yes. The same ground often has more than one party paying to watch it, and one set of flights can serve them all.

Where do the results go?

Into Esri ArcGIS and Databricks, as Esri layers, Databricks tables and exports, or through an API. We're an Esri partner and a Databricks partner.
