ZH / Farms and orchards

Farm and orchard monitoring from the air.

Crop vigor and stress, irrigation problems, and change field by field. Drones fly every day, weather permitting, with multispectral and thermal cameras.

A Zohardi Station, our customized dock and data center, is a drone dock that lives on your farm. Every flight is processed on the dock, so findings arrive the same day.

001 / What it watches for

Crop vigor and stress, irrigation problems, and change field by field.

  • Plant vigor and stress. Vegetation indices such as NDVI and NDRE track plant vigor and stress and crop health.

  • True reflectance. Every multispectral image is corrected to true reflectance with the day's sunlight readings and reference targets on site, so a greener field means a greener field, not a sunnier day.

  • Water stress. Thermal finds crops running warm under water stress.

  • Irrigation problems. A warm, weakening ring under a center pivot reads as a water problem, and a cold, wet patch as a leak.

  • Weather on the farm. The dock carries its own weather sensors, recording wind, rain, temperature, humidity, sunlight and lightning around the clock, and builds a microclimate history of the property.

002 / What you get

Answers in the tools you already use.

  • Each finding with its evidence. Every finding comes with a photo, its location and how sure it is.

  • Esri layers and Databricks tables. Results land in Esri ArcGIS and Databricks, as Esri layers, Databricks tables and exports, or through an API. We're an Esri partner and a Databricks partner.

  • A dated record. Every flight leaves a dated record for your land trust or your insurer.

  • A living digital twin. Every flight, finding and dataset joins one digital twin of the property, by place and time. Once flights begin, ask it a question in plain language, and it answers with the imagery to back it up.

  • Your data. You own your data and every output about your properties.

Try Zohardi free for 60 days.

We install the dock, handle the FAA approvals and run every flight. You own your data, and you can stop anytime.

  1. Step 1

    Walk the land.

An hour on the phone and a walk of the property to set your priorities and pick a spot for the dock.

  2. Step 2

    Fly every day.

Daily flights and on-demand checks, a morning report, and alerts when something changes.

  3. Step 3

    Review your numbers.

At day 60 we go over what it caught, what it saved and what it added. Keep going, or we take the dock away and you keep the record.

004 / Questions

Questions about farms and orchards.

What does it watch for on a farm or orchard?

Crop vigor and stress, irrigation problems, and change field by field.

Which sensors does it use on crops?

Multispectral and thermal cameras, read together with the dock's own weather record. Multispectral cameras record how plants reflect visible and near-infrared light, including red edge, and thermal cameras record a temperature for every pixel.

Can it find irrigation problems?

Yes. A warm, weakening ring under a center pivot reads as a water problem, and a cold, wet patch as a leak.

Does a sunny day make a field look healthier?

No. Every image is corrected to true reflectance with the day's sunlight readings and reference targets on site, so a greener field means a greener field, not a sunnier day.

Do I get NDVI maps?

Yes. From the multispectral imagery come standard vegetation indices such as NDVI and NDRE, which track plant vigor and stress and crop health.

How soon do I see results?

The same day. Every flight is processed on the dock, so findings arrive the same day.
